The Atlas 180 is Marcato's wider-format pasta machine, producing sheets 30mm broader than the standard Atlas+ 150. That extra width makes a practical difference when preparing lasagne for a crowd or rolling pasta in fewer passes, and it uses the same anodised aluminium alloy rollers and chrome-plated steel body as the rest of the Atlas Classic line. Made in Italy since the machine launched, the 180 is the choice when sheet width and output volume matter more than attachment versatility.
The machine comes with fixed cutting rollers and a 10-position thickness dial (4.8mm down to 0.6mm), covering three pasta shapes out of the box. The 180mm sheet width is approximately 30mm wider than a standard Atlas machine, which reduces the number of passes needed when preparing lasagne or longer sheets for ravioli by hand.
The Atlas 180 is not compatible with Marcato's range of optional cutting attachments. The 180mm roller housing uses a different fitting to the 150mm machines, so attachments designed for the Atlas+ will not fit this machine. The three built-in shapes cover the most common uses for wider pasta, but if you want to expand into spaghetti, linguine, pappardelle, bigoli or ravioli using attachments, the Atlas+ is the better starting point. The Pastadrive motor is the one accessory that is fully compatible with the Atlas 180, attaching via the bayonet fitting to convert the machine to motor-assisted rolling.
The Atlas 180 uses Marcato's patented anodised aluminium alloy rollers, which produce a slightly textured pasta surface that holds sauces better than pasta rolled on smooth steel. The anodising process creates a food-safe surface with no nickel content and no coatings that can flake. The body is chrome-plated steel. Removable polymeric resin combs and scrapers lift out for cleaning.
The 180 suits cooks who regularly make large quantities of sheet pasta, particularly lasagne, and don't need the flexibility of optional cutting attachments. The wider roller speeds up prep when you're feeding a group, and the fixed three-shape setup keeps the machine straightforward to use. If your priority is versatility across different shapes, the Atlas+ is the more adaptable choice. If you want wider sheets and volume, the Atlas 180 delivers that without compromise.

No. The Atlas 180 uses a 180mm roller housing that is not compatible with the optional cutting attachments designed for the 150mm Atlas machines. The only accessory that fits is the Pastadrive motor. If you want to use attachments such as spaghetti, linguine or ravioli cutters, the Atlas+ is the machine to choose.
The Atlas 180 produces wider sheets (180mm vs 150mm) and is designed for high-volume sheet pasta. The Atlas+ has a narrower 150mm roller but makes four shapes including rounded spaghetti, and is compatible with 10 optional cutting attachments. The Atlas 180 is better for lasagne and bulk rolling; the Atlas+ is better if you want to expand your shape repertoire over time.
Yes. The Pastadrive motor attaches to the Atlas 180 via the bayonet fitting and converts it to motor-assisted rolling, leaving both hands free to guide the dough. It is sold separately.
The 10-position dial runs from 4.8mm at setting 0 down to 0.6mm at setting 9, covering everything from initial rough passes to fine sheets for delicate pasta.
A free cleaning brush is available to add to your basket at checkout. The machine should be cleaned with a small brush or toothpick only, never water, a dishwasher, or metal objects.
