Berkel Recycled Paper Chopping Board – Medium & Large

Despite the name, B-Paper isn't a paper board in the flimsy sense. It's Berkel's name for Ecosolid, a hard composite made entirely from recycled FSC-certified paper and cardboard, bound with a resin containing no petroleum-based materials and coloured with natural pigments. The result is a dishwasher-safe, food-grade certified board that resists impact and moisture without behaving like a piece of wood or a sheet of plastic. It's available in two sizes and carries Berkel's flywheel printed onto the surface.

Ecosolid Construction

B-Paper boards are made from Ecosolid, a composite material produced entirely from recycled FSC-certified paper and cardboard with PetroFree resin and natural pigments. The result is a hard, non-porous surface that doesn't absorb moisture, bacteria or food odours the way wood can, and unlike standard plastic boards it's made without petroleum-based resins.

Practical Performance

The non-porous surface resists moisture and doesn't require oiling or seasoning. It handles impacts and high temperatures without warping or cracking, and goes straight in the dishwasher when you're done. Dry with a soft cloth after washing.

Two Sizes

The medium board suits smaller prep tasks and tighter worktops. The large board gives a generous surface for most everyday preparation. Both share the same construction and flywheel detailing.

Use Alongside Berkel Slicers

This board doesn't attach to any Berkel slicer, but it works naturally alongside them.
