ZiiPa's food-grade beech pellets are the recommended fuel for the Piana Wood oven, supplied in a 5kg kraft box with an integrated dispenser spout for clean, controlled pouring. The pellets are 100% natural beechwood from sustainably managed French forests, with no binders, additives, or fillers. At approximately 250g per cook, a single box gives you around 20 pizza sessions.

The pellets are manufactured specifically for food use. Beech is a neutral hardwood that burns cleanly and produces minimal ash, which keeps the oven and stone in better condition between cooks. With no binders or chemical additives, there's nothing affecting the flavour of what you're cooking.

Consistent Heat, Minimal Ash

Beech pellets have a high calorific value and consistent density, which means predictable burn rates and stable oven temperatures. The Piana reaches 400°C in around 20 minutes with beech pellets and holds temperature well across a session when the fuel drawer is topped up regularly. Ash output is low, making cleanup straightforward.

Dispenser Box for Clean Pouring

The 5kg kraft box has an integrated dispenser spout built into the packaging, so you can pour directly into the fuel drawer or the Donato pellet dispenser without needing a separate container. Store the box in a cool, dry place between uses to keep the pellets dry and performing consistently.
