What cheeses is it best suited to?
Hard and very hard cheeses including Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, Pecorino Romano, aged Manchego, and similar varieties. It is not suited to soft or semi-soft cheeses, which will clog the teeth rather than grate cleanly.
What is the advantage of a curved grater over a flat one?
The curved surface maintains contact with the cheese through the full stroke, giving more grating surface per pass and reducing the effort needed. A flat grater only contacts the cheese at the centre of each stroke.
Is it dishwasher safe?
