About Us

An independent UK specialist for Italian-made pasta and pizza tools, kitchen equipment and more.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

A honey dipper does one thing that a spoon can't: it picks up honey in the grooves and releases it as a controlled drizzle rather than a pour. This one is made by Eppicotispai in Italy from natural beechwood, turned to a classic profile with deep spiral grooves that hold honey and let it flow evenly as you rotate and tilt. At 13.5cm long with a 2.7cm head, it fits comfortably into most standard honey jars and handles everything from thin runny honey to thicker set varieties.

How the Grooves Work

The spiral grooves pull honey up as you rotate the dipper in the jar, hold it while you lift, then release it gradually as you tilt over your toast, yogurt, or cheeseboard. It's a more controlled method than spooning, which tends to trail and drip between jar and plate.

  • Deep spiral profile picks up honey as you rotate
  • Controlled release with no trailing drips
  • Works with all honey consistencies, including thick set

Beechwood, Made in Italy

Made by Eppicotispai, an Italian kitchenware producer whose wooden tools appear throughout the Pasta Kitchen range. Beechwood is a practical choice for a tool like this: it's food-safe, doesn't taint flavours, and holds up fine with the gentle rinsing this kind of utensil gets.

  • Natural beechwood, food-safe with no coatings
  • Made in Italy by Eppicotispai
  • 13.5cm total length, 2.7cm head diameter

Why Choose This Honey Dipper

It's a simple, functional tool at a low price point, made by a producer we stock and trust for their Italian kitchen range. If you want a honey dipper that works properly and comes from the same maker as your wooden pasta and kitchen tools, this is the one to reach for.

  • Made in Italy by Eppicotispai
  • Pairs with other Eppicotispai wooden utensils in the range
  • Rinse under warm water, dry immediately, store upright

Browse Italian Kitchen Tools

This honey dipper sits within our wider range of Italian kitchen tools and utensils, including cherry wood spoons, risotto spatulas, and other pieces from the Eppicotispai range.

Is the honey dipper dishwasher safe?

No. Rinse under warm water and dry immediately after use. Dishwashers will cause the wood to crack over time.

Does it work with thick set honey?

Yes. Give it a few extra rotations in the jar with thicker varieties to coat the grooves properly before lifting.

What size jar does it suit?

The 2.7cm head fits most standard honey jars, including the common 227g and 340g sizes. The 13.5cm handle keeps your hand clear of the jar opening.
