Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.
The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.
We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.
Shop with Pasta Kitchen for Italian Kitchen Equipment You Can Trust
*UK orders only. Shipping restrictions and import duties may apply for orders outside the UK.
This is the standard Pulltex double-lever waiter's corkscrew, the format that made the brand's reputation in professional wine service. It extracts corks in two controlled vertical steps without breaking or damaging them, and it does so without any additional mechanism beyond the lever itself. No button release, no silicone handle, just the core double-lever system in its most straightforward form. Stock is limited across all colours and will not be replenished.
The retractable double lever keeps cork extraction vertical throughout both steps, which reduces the sideways pressure on the cork that causes crumbling or breaking. It's the mechanism that became standard in restaurants and bars because it works consistently on every cork type.
The Teflon coating reduces friction as the spiral enters the cork, giving you a cleaner entry with less risk of tearing. The nickel-plated lever is corrosion resistant and holds up to regular contact with wine and moisture.
A foil blade is built into the corkscrew for cutting the capsule before opening. It folds away when not in use and is accessible with one hand before you position the spiral.
The Pulltap Double Lever is the no-frills version of the Pulltex waiter's corkscrew range. If you want the double-lever mechanism without a button release or silicone handle, this is the right choice. It's also the most colour-varied option in the range, available in black, red, orange, purple, yellow, burgundy, and pale green while stocks last. For a softer silicone grip, the Silictaps is the alternative, and for a button-release lever the Pulltap Button Lever covers that. Browse the full Pulltex range at Pasta Kitchen.
All three use the same Pulltex double-lever extraction mechanism. The Pulltap Double Lever is the standard version with a rigid handle and no button release. The Silictaps has a silicone insert handle for a softer grip. The Button Lever has a rigid ergonomic handle with a button-release mechanism on the lever. Extraction performance across all three is comparable.
Currently available in black, red, orange, purple, yellow, burgundy, and pale green. Stock is limited and will not be restocked, so availability may change. Colour can be selected at checkout.
