Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

The Pulltex Pulltap Double Lever Corkscrew is a classic waiter's corkscrew with a double-lever mechanism, Teflon-coated spiral, nickel-plated lever, and foil blade, available in multiple colours while stocks last.

This is the standard Pulltex double-lever waiter's corkscrew, the format that made the brand's reputation in professional wine service. It extracts corks in two controlled vertical steps without breaking or damaging them, and it does so without any additional mechanism beyond the lever itself. No button release, no silicone handle, just the core double-lever system in its most straightforward form. Stock is limited across all colours and will not be replenished.

Double-Lever Extraction

The retractable double lever keeps cork extraction vertical throughout both steps, which reduces the sideways pressure on the cork that causes crumbling or breaking. It's the mechanism that became standard in restaurants and bars because it works consistently on every cork type.

Teflon-Coated Spiral and Nickel-Plated Lever

The Teflon coating reduces friction as the spiral enters the cork, giving you a cleaner entry with less risk of tearing. The nickel-plated lever is corrosion resistant and holds up to regular contact with wine and moisture.

Why Choose the Pulltap Double Lever

The Pulltap Double Lever is the no-frills version of the Pulltex waiter's corkscrew range. If you want the double-lever mechanism without a button release or silicone handle, this is the right choice. It's also the most colour-varied option in the range, available in black, red, orange, purple, yellow, burgundy, and pale green while stocks last. What's the difference between this and the Silictaps and Button Lever corkscrews?
All three use the same Pulltex double-lever extraction mechanism. The Pulltap Double Lever is the standard version with a rigid handle and no button release. The Silictaps has a silicone insert handle for a softer grip. The Button Lever has a rigid ergonomic handle with a button-release mechanism on the lever. Extraction performance across all three is comparable.
What colours are available?
Currently available in black, red, orange, purple, yellow, burgundy, and pale green. Stock is limited and will not be restocked, so availability may change. Colour can be selected at checkout.
Does it include a foil cutter?
Yes. A foil blade is integrated into the corkscrew body and folds away when not in use.
Will it work on synthetic corks?
Yes. The double-lever mechanism and Teflon-coated spiral handle natural, synthetic, and long corks without issue.
Is this suitable for left-handed use?
No. The spiral is designed for right-handed use. Pulltex make a dedicated left-handed version with an inverted spiral, but that model is not currently stocked at Pasta Kitchen.

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Eligibility

  • Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable (see below regarding use and diminished value)
  • Returns must include your full name and order number

Diminished Value and Use of Goods

  • Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may result in a deduction from your refund
  • This includes use of food preparation equipment with ingredients such as flour, dough, or egg
  • Items used in this way cannot be resold as new and may be subject to a reduced refund
  • Any deduction will be based on the condition of the item following inspection

Food/perishables, gift cards, free gifts/promotional items, and hazardous/flammable goods.

Return window after approval

Please dispatch your return within 14 days of approval. Late returns may be refused, partially refunded, or returned at your expense.

Costs & Refunds

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless incorrect, damaged or faulty.
  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover return shipping; a £5.95 return shipping charge may be deducted from the refund unless advised otherwise
  • Refunds are processed after inspection; allow up to 10 working days to appear
