Berkel products sold by pasta.kitchen are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty, which is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Warranty length depends on the product type and is detailed below.

Manufacturer Warranty Period

Manufacturer warranties begin from the date of purchase and apply when products are used appropriately and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • All Berkel slicers – 24 month manufacturer’s warranty
  • All other Berkel products – 1 year manufacturer’s warranty

Products Covered

  • Berkel slicers including Home Line and Red Line models
  • Berkel accessories supplied with or purchased for Berkel machines
  • Berkel Classic knives and knife sets

What the Warranty Covers

The manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship when the product is used correctly and under normal domestic conditions.

In the event of a valid warranty claim, the manufacturer will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement, in line with applicable consumer protection regulations.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage caused during transport after delivery
  • Incorrect installation positioning or setup
  • Misuse negligence or use outside the manufacturer’s instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Voltage fluctuations exceeding 10 percent of the nominal value
  • Components subject to wear including blades and sharpening wheels, except in cases of evident manufacturing defects
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact pasta.kitchen first
  2. Provide your order number or proof of purchase
  3. Provide the product model and a clear description of the issue
  4. Include photos or video where possible

How long is the Berkel warranty?

All Berkel slicers sold by pasta.kitchen are supplied with a 24 month manufacturer’s warranty. All other Berkel products include a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects when the product is used correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

What is not covered?

The warranty does not cover misuse incorrect installation normal wear and tear consumable components voltage fluctuations or unauthorised repairs.
