An independent UK specialist for Italian-made pasta and pizza tools, kitchen equipment and more.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

A solid beechwood scraper for lifting and portioning dough from worktops and pasta boards. At 11cm wide, it has enough span to gather pasta dough cleanly in one pass, and the straight edge doubles as a divider when you need to portion bread or pizza dough by weight. The handle-free design keeps things simple and easy to store.

What It's Good For

The flat edge lifts dough that's stuck to a floured board without tearing it, and the rigid wood gives you more control than a flexible plastic scraper when dividing portions. It works just as well for scraping flour residue off the worktop between rolls.

Care

Beechwood is durable but doesn't like prolonged moisture. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately, and it'll last for years. Don't submerge it in water or put it through a dishwasher.

Can I use this with a pasta machine?
Yes. It's particularly useful for gathering fresh pasta dough before feeding it through the machine, and for lifting sheets from the board without stretching them.
What's the difference between this and a metal or plastic scraper?
Metal scrapers are better suited to dividing stiff bread doughs and scraping down metal mixing bowls. Plastic scrapers flex, which is useful for bowl scraping but reduces control on a flat surface. A wooden scraper like this gives a firm, flat edge that's gentle on wooden boards and stays rigid under pressure.
Does beechwood warp over time?
It can if it's left wet or soaked repeatedly. As long as you wipe it down and dry it properly after each use, warping isn't an issue in normal kitchen conditions.

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Eligibility

  • Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable (see below regarding use and diminished value)
  • Returns must include your full name and order number

Diminished Value and Use of Goods

  • Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may result in a deduction from your refund
  • This includes use of food preparation equipment with ingredients such as flour, dough, or egg
  • Items used in this way cannot be resold as new and may be subject to a reduced refund
  • Any deduction will be based on the condition of the item following inspection

Return window after approval

Please dispatch your return within 14 days of approval. Late returns may be refused, partially refunded, or returned at your expense.

Costs & Refunds

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless incorrect, damaged or faulty.
  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover return shipping; a £5.95 return shipping charge may be deducted from the refund unless advised otherwise
  • Refunds are processed after inspection; allow up to 10 working days to appear
