About Us

An independent UK specialist for Italian-made pasta and pizza tools, kitchen equipment and more.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

Most ice buckets are either too heavy to carry when full or too wide to fit comfortably on a dining table. The Pulltex Ice Bucket solves both problems: made from extra-thick, lightweight acrylic with side handles, a drain opening, and a narrow base, it's light enough to carry one-handed with a bottle inside and sits neatly on a side table or between place settings without dominating the surface.

The bucket is made from impact-resistant acrylic with extra wall thickness for durability. Acrylic handles temperature changes without cracking, which matters when you're moving between a cold fridge and a warm room. Drain Opening and Narrow Base

The opening at the top of the bucket serves two purposes: it supports the bottle neck to prevent slipping during service, and it lets you drain meltwater without removing the bottle. The narrow base is designed to fit on smaller table surfaces where a standard wide-base bucket wouldn't sit stably.

What drinks does this ice bucket fit?
It's designed primarily for standard 750ml wine and champagne bottles. The opening at the top supports the bottle neck, and the bucket depth is suited to chilling a bottle from base to shoulder.
Is acrylic as durable as stainless steel for an ice bucket?
The Pulltex bucket uses extra-thick acrylic that's rated as impact resistant and stable across temperature changes. It won't dent like thin stainless steel, though it can scratch if cleaned with abrasive materials.
How do I empty the meltwater?
The bucket has a drain opening at the top designed for this. You can empty meltwater without removing the bottle, which avoids the dripping and awkwardness of lifting the bottle out first.
Is this ice bucket suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The acrylic construction handles temperature changes well and the light weight makes it practical for garden tables and outdoor entertaining.
Does it come with ice tongs?

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Eligibility

  • Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable (see below regarding use and diminished value)
  • Returns must include your full name and order number

Diminished Value and Use of Goods

  • Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may result in a deduction from your refund
  • This includes use of food preparation equipment with ingredients such as flour, dough, or egg
  • Items used in this way cannot be resold as new and may be subject to a reduced refund
  • Any deduction will be based on the condition of the item following inspection

Return window after approval

Please dispatch your return within 14 days of approval. Late returns may be refused, partially refunded, or returned at your expense.

Costs & Refunds

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless incorrect, damaged or faulty.
  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover return shipping; a £5.95 return shipping charge may be deducted from the refund unless advised otherwise
  • Refunds are processed after inspection; allow up to 10 working days to appear
