The Eppicotispai speed peeler is a Y-style peeler stamped from stainless steel in a single piece, with no plastic, no rubber, and no moving parts to wear out. It peels cleanly through potatoes, carrots, courgettes, parsnips and most firm vegetables, with enough precision for thin ribbons of courgette or cucumber when you need them. Made in Italy.
The peeler is made entirely from stainless steel, including the handle, giving it a solid, weighted feel that cheap plastic-handled peelers don't match. The blade is sharp out of the box and resists rust with normal use and washing.
The Y-blade orientation suits most everyday prep, pulling toward you in broad strokes rather than away like a traditional straight peeler. It handles firm, waxy and floury vegetables equally well, and the blade width makes quick work of larger surfaces like butternut squash or celeriac.
Eppicotispai is a kitchenware manufacturer based near Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. Their tools are made in Italy from stainless steel and built to last, with no shortcuts in construction. This peeler fits that pattern: simple, durable, and free of the unnecessary features that tend to break first.
Most peelers at this price come with plastic handles and blades that dull within a year. This one is all steel, made in Italy, and designed without anything that degrades. If you want a peeler that gets out of the way and does the job reliably, this is it.

Yes. The all-steel construction means there are no plastic components to warp or degrade in the dishwasher. A hand rinse and dry works just as well and will keep the blade sharper for longer.
A Y-peeler (also called a speed peeler) holds the blade perpendicular to the handle, so you pull it toward you across the vegetable. Many cooks find it faster and easier to control than a traditional straight peeler, especially on larger or irregular surfaces.
It works well on most firm vegetables: potatoes, carrots, parsnips, courgettes, butternut squash and celeriac. It also handles firm fruit like apples and pears. Very soft produce isn't well suited to any metal peeler.
Stainless steel blades on all-metal peelers tend to hold their edge well compared to cheaper alternatives. Handwashing and drying after use will extend the blade life further.
