About Us

An independent UK specialist for Italian-made pasta and pizza tools, kitchen equipment and more.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

This Cerutti Inox brush is built with a recessed handle and a lower bristle head to cut the overall brush height down to 5cm, so it slides under ovens where a standard-height brush handle catches on the roof of the chamber. It comes in two sizes: a 120cm-handled Large for reaching into big commercial electric ovens, and a 60cm-handled Small that does the same low-clearance job while also suiting compact single-pizza ovens.

Built for Low Clearance

The problem with most oven brushes isn't just the handle, it's the scraper: our other Cerutti Inox oven brush has a scraper fitted above the bristles, and that extra height is exactly what stops a brush fitting into an oven with a low roof over the deck. This brush leaves the scraper off and keeps the bristle head to 5cm, so it gets under the ceiling of ovens that a taller or scraper-topped brush simply can't reach into.

  • No scraper attachment, unlike our 150cm Cerutti Inox brush
  • Bristle head kept to 5cm so the whole head clears low oven roofs

Large: Commercial and Fast-Food Electric Ovens

The 120cm handle and 22.5cm brush head are sized for the large rectangular electric deck ovens common in restaurants and fast-food kitchens, where a low roof over the deck is exactly the clearance problem this brush is built to solve.

  • 120cm handle, 22.5cm brush head
  • Reaches the back of a wide deck without leaning into the chamber
  • Keeps your hand and arm outside the oven while sweeping

Small: Compact Ovens, Including the ZiiPa Piana, Ooni and Gozney

The 60cm handle and 16cm brush head handle the same low-clearance commercial ovens on a smaller scale, and the shorter reach also suits single-pizza ovens such as the ZiiPa Piana, Ooni and Gozney, where a 120cm handle would be more than the oven needs. Even at 60cm, the handle keeps your hand well clear of the door opening and the hot surfaces around the entrance, rather than putting your hand right up against them the way a shorter handle would.

  • 60cm handle, 16cm brush head
  • Sized for single-pizza ovens like the ZiiPa Piana, Ooni and Gozney
  • Keeps your hand back from the door and entrance, away from hot edges you could otherwise catch
  • Also suitable for other compact electric ovens, including Ninja and ProCook models

Which Size to Choose

Size Brush / Handle Best suited to
Small 16cm brush, 60cm handle Single-pizza ovens (ZiiPa Piana, Ooni, Gozney) and smaller commercial units
Large 22.5cm brush, 120cm handle Large rectangular commercial and fast-food electric ovens

Why Clean the Oven Floor Regularly

Sweeping the deck between bakes clears loose flour and stray toppings before they burn onto the next base, which keeps flavour transfer down and the oven floor performing the way it should.

Pairs With

If you're using a ZiiPa Piana, the Small size is the right match. This brush deliberately leaves off the scraper fitted to our other Cerutti Inox brush, since that extra height is exactly what stops a brush fitting under a low oven roof. If your oven has more clearance and you'd like a scraper edge for stuck-on residue as well as the bristles, see the full pizza oven brushes range at Pasta Kitchen, including the 150cm Cerutti Inox brush with built-in scraper.

What's the difference between the Small and Large sizes?
The Small has a 16cm brush on a 60cm handle. The Large has a 22.5cm brush on a 120cm handle. Both keep the same 5cm low-profile brush height.
Will the Small brush fit my Ooni, Gozney or ZiiPa oven?
Yes. Its 60cm handle and low-profile head are sized for single-pizza ovens like these, where a longer commercial handle would be unwieldy.
Is the Large brush meant for commercial ovens?
Yes, it's sized for the large rectangular electric ovens used in restaurants and fast-food kitchens, where the low roof above the deck is the main clearance problem it solves.
Can I use the Large brush on a home oven instead of the Small?
It will physically work, but the 120cm handle is longer than most single-pizza ovens need. The Small size is the better fit for home use.
Why is there an extra shipping charge on this item?
Because of the handle length, it carries an additional shipping charge even if the rest of your order would otherwise qualify for included carriage.
What are the bristles and handle made from?
Brass bristles on an anodised aluminium handle.
Why doesn't this brush have a scraper like your other Cerutti Inox brush?
The scraper on our other Cerutti Inox brush is fitted above the bristles, which adds height. That extra height is exactly what stops a brush fitting into an oven with a low roof, so this brush leaves the scraper off to keep its profile low enough for tight-clearance ovens.
Is the Small's 60cm handle long enough to keep my hand away from the heat?
Yes. Even at 60cm, the handle keeps your hand well clear of the door opening and the hot surfaces around the entrance, rather than putting your hand right up against them the way a shorter handle would.
