Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.
The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.
We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

A stainless steel spatula for cutting and serving Cheddar and similar semi-hard cheeses. The broad, flat blade slides cleanly through the cheese without crumbling it, making it the right tool for block Cheddar, Gouda, Edam, and other cheeses of similar texture. Made in Italy by Eppicotispai, with a turned beechwood handle.
The spatula is 120mm long and 25mm wide, with a flat stainless steel blade and a turned beechwood handle. Compact enough to sit on a cheese board alongside the other Eppicotispai tools.
Designed for semi-hard cheeses that benefit from a flat, sliding cut rather than a downward press. Block Cheddar, Gouda, Edam, and aged Gruyère all suit this tool. For harder cheeses like Parmigiano or Grana Padano, the Parmesan knife is the better choice. For crumbly cheeses like Stilton, the Stilton spatula is more appropriate.
The Cheddar spatula follows a traditional design intended specifically for semi-hard cheese service. The beechwood handle and stainless steel construction match the other tools in the range, so it sits consistently alongside them on a cheese board.

Semi-hard cheeses including block Cheddar, Gouda, Edam, Jarlsberg, and aged Gruyère. Any cheese firm enough to hold its shape when cut with a flat blade.
No. The beechwood handle is not dishwasher safe and should not be soaked in water. Hand wash with mild soap, rinse quickly, and dry immediately. Prolonged exposure to water will damage the wood over time.
