The Quick Beechwood Gnocchi Paddle is a ridged beechwood board for shaping gnocchi and cavatelli, with a sloped base that sits at an angle on the worktop where our standard Beechwood Gnocchi Paddle lies flat. Dough rolled along the board comes away with even ridges that help sauce cling. It is a board-only paddle with no garganelli rod, made in Italy by Eppicotispai.
The Angled Base
- The bottom of the paddle is cut on a diagonal slope, where the standard Beechwood Gnocchi Paddle ends in a square block
- The slope lets the board sit at an angle on the worktop instead of lying flat on it
- The ridged beechwood face is the same as the standard paddle, for potato gnocchi, ricotta gnocchi and cavatelli
- At 20.2cm long and 6cm wide, it is the same size as the standard paddle
