Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.
The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.
We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

Round, high-edged aluminium tins from Marcato, available in three sizes. The conical profile (narrower at the base, wider at the top) suits a range of baking uses: deep dish and Chicago-style pizzas, sponge and layered cakes, tarts, pies and quiches. The 46mm depth across all three sizes gives enough height for generous fillings and risen doughs. Food-safe aluminium throughout, made in Italy.
All dimensions are measured at the top of the tin. The conical profile means the base diameter is slightly narrower than the figures below.
The tins are plain aluminium with no coating, which means they conduct heat evenly and are suitable for high oven temperatures. Aluminium heats quickly and distributes heat consistently across the base and sides, which produces an even bake on pizza crusts, cake sponges and pastry bases. Without a non-stick coating there is nothing to chip or degrade over time, though flouring or lining the tin before use is recommended for cakes and pastry.
See all Marcato products we stock, or view the Marcato Blue Iron baking tray for a seasoned steel option suited to pizza and focaccia.
Yes. The 46mm depth and conical profile make these well suited to deep dish and Chicago-style pizza. The aluminium conducts heat quickly and evenly, which helps produce a crisp base. The 28cm tin is the most commonly used size for a large deep dish pizza; the 24cm works well for a thicker personal size.
These are plain aluminium without a non-stick coating, so greasing or lining is recommended for cakes, pastry and anything with a sugary base that is likely to stick. For pizza dough with a good amount of oil in the recipe, greasing alone is usually sufficient.
The listed dimensions are the top measurements. The tins are conical, meaning the base is slightly narrower than the top. Exact base diameters are not specified by Marcato; if this is critical for your use, get in touch and we can measure for you.
Yes. Aluminium performs well in both conventional and fan ovens. Fan ovens run hotter, so you may need to reduce the temperature slightly compared to the recipe's stated setting, as you would with any aluminium bakeware.
