An independent UK specialist for Italian-made pasta and pizza tools, kitchen equipment and more.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

The Genus Dei 30 x 40 cm pizza dough box is made in Italy from food-grade, BPA-free polyethylene. It holds up to six 250g dough balls (as a guide, depending on dough ball size), fits most domestic fridge shelves, and stacks cleanly when space is limited. If you regularly make pizza or focaccia at home, it's a straightforward upgrade from cling film and mixing bowls — and the most practical size for a domestic kitchen.

Can I stack multiple dough boxes on top of each other?
Yes. The boxes are designed to stack securely, which makes them practical for proofing multiple batches at once or storing in the fridge when space is limited.
How many dough balls does the 30 x 40 box hold?
Up to six 250g dough balls as a guide. Capacity will vary depending on dough ball size and weight.
Will this box fit in a standard domestic fridge?
It's designed to fit most domestic fridge shelves. The external footprint is 30 x 40 cm, so it's worth checking your shelf dimensions if your fridge has unusually narrow shelves.
How do I clean the box?
The smooth polyethylene surfaces wipe clean easily. Wash by hand with warm soapy water. The material doesn't absorb odours or staining from dough.
How many boxes can I stack?
There's no fixed limit, but practically speaking two to three boxes is manageable for fridge storage. The raised base on each box means stacked boxes sit stably and give each layer of dough a little extra room to rise.

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Eligibility

  • Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable (see below regarding use and diminished value)
  • Returns must include your full name and order number

Diminished Value and Use of Goods

  • Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may result in a deduction from your refund
  • This includes use of food preparation equipment with ingredients such as flour, dough, or egg
  • Items used in this way cannot be resold as new and may be subject to a reduced refund
  • Any deduction will be based on the condition of the item following inspection

Food/perishables, gift cards, free gifts/promotional items, and hazardous/flammable goods.

Return window after approval

Please dispatch your return within 14 days of approval. Late returns may be refused, partially refunded, or returned at your expense.

Costs & Refunds

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless incorrect, damaged or faulty.
  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover return shipping; a £5.95 return shipping charge may be deducted from the refund unless advised otherwise
  • Refunds are processed after inspection; allow up to 10 working days to appear
