Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.

The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.

We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.

A pizza oven brush for clearing ash, loose flour and burnt debris off the oven floor between bakes. Brass bristles are stiff enough to lift stuck-on residue but soft enough not to scratch a pizza stone or refractory brick, on an 18cm wooden head with a plain aluminium handle. Available in 60cm and 120cm handle lengths. Made in Italy.

The 120cm option carries an additional shipping charge because of its length, even if your order qualifies for carriage paid.

What is the difference between this brush and the one with a scraper?
The handle and an extra tool. This brush has a plain aluminium handle and just the brass bristles. The other Cerutti Inox brush has a red anodised handle with an integrated scraper fitted above the bristles, for loosening compacted dough or burnt cheese before sweeping it clear. Both use the same brass bristle head.
How often should the oven floor be cleaned?
Before every bake. Burnt flour and ash left on the floor transfer bitterness to the next pizza base and create uneven hot spots. A quick sweep between pizzas is also good practice when cooking several back to back.
Is this brush safe to use on a pizza stone?
Yes. Brass bristles are soft enough not to scratch or damage a pizza stone, which is why brass is the standard bristle material for oven brushes rather than steel. It works best once the stone has cooled enough to handle safely but is still warm enough that most residue has burnt off.
What handle length fits my oven?
60cm suits a home pizza oven or a compact garden oven. 120cm suits a full-size wood-fired or commercial oven, keeping the hand further from the heat at the back of a deeper chamber.
Are replacement brush heads available?
Yes, replacement brass bristle heads are available separately, so the whole brush does not need replacing when the bristles wear. See our replacement brush heads.

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). Order before 12pm (noon) to be eligible for same-day dispatch.

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Standard delivery is available to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, with rates shown at checkout based on weight. Please note that oversized parcels (over 1m) cannot be shipped to this region as standard — if you're based in the Highlands or Islands and have your eye on one of our longer peels, please get in touch before ordering and we'll do our best to help.

International Delivery

We ship worldwide on standard parcels, with delivery rates calculated at checkout based on destination and parcel weight. Please note that oversized parcels (over 1m) cannot be shipped internationally as standard — contact us before ordering if you need international delivery on a longer peel or turner.

All returns must be authorised before being sent back.

Eligibility

  • Request a return within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable (see below regarding use and diminished value)
  • Returns must include your full name and order number

Diminished Value and Use of Goods

  • Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may result in a deduction from your refund
  • This includes use of food preparation equipment with ingredients such as flour, dough, or egg
  • Items used in this way cannot be resold as new and may be subject to a reduced refund
  • Any deduction will be based on the condition of the item following inspection

Food/perishables, gift cards, free gifts/promotional items, and hazardous/flammable goods.

Return window after approval

Please dispatch your return within 14 days of approval. Late returns may be refused, partially refunded, or returned at your expense.

Costs & Refunds

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless incorrect, damaged or faulty.
  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover return shipping; a £5.95 return shipping charge may be deducted from the refund unless advised otherwise
  • Refunds are processed after inspection; allow up to 10 working days to appear
