The Berkel Icon Line 170 is a compact electric food slicer designed for precise everyday slicing in modern kitchens. Designed in Italy, it combines Berkel’s distinctive design with reliable slicing performance in a smaller format that suits regular home use.
Featuring a 170mm chromed steel blade and a 0.19 kW motor, the Icon Line 170 delivers consistent slicing results across cured meats, vegetables and other suitable foods. Its compact size makes it easy to accommodate on a kitchen worktop while still providing the cutting performance expected from a Berkel slicer.
The Icon Line series offers a balance between design, functionality and practicality, making it well suited to home cooks who want precise slicing without the size of larger machines.
The Icon Line 170 is designed for kitchens where space and usability are important. The compact footprint allows the slicer to fit comfortably on a worktop while remaining stable during use.
Despite its smaller size, the machine still delivers the precision slicing required for preparing charcuterie, sandwiches and everyday ingredients.
The 170mm chrome-plated steel blade features a professional cutting profile designed to produce clean, even slices.
The inclined cutting surface allows ingredients to move naturally toward the blade during slicing, improving consistency and reducing effort when preparing food.
The manual thickness adjustment dial offers precise control over slice thickness, allowing users to prepare a wide variety of foods.
With adjustment from extremely thin slices up to 18mm, the slicer is suitable for charcuterie, vegetables and thicker cuts depending on the recipe.
The Icon Line 170 is powered by a 0.19 kW motor designed to provide smooth and reliable slicing performance.
The motor maintains steady blade rotation during use, helping to produce consistent results while reducing vibration.
This makes the slicer well suited to regular domestic use and occasional hospitality environments where a compact machine is preferred.
The slicer includes several features designed to simplify cleaning and improve safety during operation.
These features allow the machine to be cleaned more easily while maintaining safe operation.

Pasta Kitchen launched in 2016 with a straightforward aim: stock the tools that actually make a difference when you're cooking Italian food at home. We're a family-run business, and Italian cooking tools are genuinely what we know. We've been selling Marcato pasta machines and Eppicotispai tools the entire time, and every product we add to the range gets used and tested by our team at home before it goes on the site.
The range has grown a lot since then, but the approach hasn't. We choose products we believe in, from brands that have been making them properly for decades. Almost everything we sell is made in Italy. Marcato pasta machines are manufactured in Campodarsego, near Padova. Berkel slicers and knives are made in Italy, in the province of Varese. Cerutti Inox and Eppicotispai are Italian-made brands we've carried for years.
We're an authorised UK retailer for the brands we carry. Everything is supplied with UK-compatible plugs where applicable, VAT is included in the price, and there are no import duties or customs surprises on delivery.* You may be able to find some of these products cheaper from overseas sellers, but what you won't get is UK warranty support, correct specifications for the UK market, or anyone to call if something goes wrong.
*UK orders only. Shipping restrictions and import duties may apply for orders outside the UK.
